Uniqlo has launched a new technology that can measure your brain activity to find the perfect t-shirt for you.
What is it?
It’s now possible to find a t-shirt that suits your mood at the Uniqlo store in Sydney, Australia. With the use of neuroscience, your brain activity will be measured that will reflect the mood you are in and a t-shirt will be picked best fitted to that mood.
How does it work?
First, customers have to put on a headphone. This headphone uses a single sensor on the forehead to measure brain activity. The customer is showed 10 video clips that all represents different moods. With the use technology algorithm 5 metrics will be employed: interest, like, concentration, stress and drowsiness. With this, the customers response (mood) is measured and will be matched to one of the 600 styles and colors Uniqlo has to offer.
